Hey I’m currently trying to sort out a very similar issue in a 2.0 twin spark- flashing eml but only when keeping the engine speed between 4000-4500 rpm constant Checkfor electrical problems and interior creaks and rattles. The direct injection 2.0-litre JTS which showed up in 2003 is more refined than the older 2.0-litres and can return a respectable 31mpg.
