I have a C350 3.5 and I have started to notice that while I'm driving the Sport Mode comes on by itself from Economy mode. The light on the Sport switch illuminates and the S symbol on the dash comes on. The switch won't let me turn it off again until I stop the car, switch the engine off and restart. I traded my 03 Cobra for a 17 GTPP. I was always use to turning off traction control in the Cobra so that is what I do in the GT. Unfortunately I have noticed that if I am in Sport mode with traction control turned off the computer finds a way to turn traction control back on. Is there a mode that keeps traction control forced off? This could refer to various components, such as an audio system, a navigation system, or a climate control system. It is recommended to have the car inspected by a qualified Mercedes-Benz technician to diagnose and resolve the issue.
Performance exhaust is louder in Sport+ mode. I believe there is a cross-pipe valve on the standard exhaust (also on the performance) that produces different effects, but the performance exhaust has extra flaps at the tail end of the exhaust to bypass the final muffler, resulting in a deeper, louder sound regardless of engine mode.
ECO mode turns on the ECO-Start/Stop system automatically while optimizing other vehicle aspects like gear-shifting, climate control, and other systems for a more efficient performance. You will have to turn the lights on using the light switch. If it starts to rain, don’t expect the wipers to start working automatically. Use the wiper switch to turn on the wipers. Common Cause As above, Sport or Standard (Depending upon how Mercedes interpreted it at the time the manual was printed). Pulls away in 1st gear and holds onto the gears longer. Comfort pulls away in 2nd gear and changes up at lower revs. Unless you floor it when pulling away, in which case it will select 1st gear automatically.

FYI they only beep for me when you are within a very short distance say 12 inches of the obstruction. They solid beep when you are at the minimum distance. This goes for front and rear sensors.
I believe there are two different issues here, each of which requires the push of a button. The button to the left controls the ECU, (Electronic (or Engine) Control Unit) and has, at least on my 2015 GLA250, three positions, E, S, and M. M (manual) is semi useless, so there are basically 2 modes you can be in, E, where you start in 2nd, or S
