Play with friends Hi, im quit new in GW2 and i start to play with 5 friends. The thing is that i see that you dont share xp or the quests you do to helo the people are completly individual.
You can enjoy the pvp and pve together aslong as you and your friend are on EU, you can join eachothers map instances by right clicking eachothers portrait in party and pressing join on map. You won't be able to do wvw together, although there's a system coming that will allow people in the same guild to be put together on the same team in wvw
Living World Episode Unlocks. Living World episodes must be unlocked in order to play them. Once unlocked, an episode can be accessed by any level 80 character on the account. There are two methods for unlocking episodes: acquiring it for free during its release window, or purchasing it at a later date.
The dungeons are decidedly average, but reward 70% of a level of xp on completion (+mob xp), a good amount of coin, have decent drops (you won't see a back piece before level 80 without doing dungeons), and the tokens they reward give you the easiest access to the start of end-game gear: exotics. Always skip cutscenes.
Try putting the "exploration" mode on for the UI to hide unnecessary UI elements and get more immersed. ;) you can have certain aspects of your HUD fade away or fade back depending on the context. E.g. you can have your skill bar only appear during combat, then fade away when you're out of combat.

No, you can't keep switching servers for free. EU and NA are seperate so basically think of it as needing 2 accounts. You have 4 options:1) Give up playing with your guild2) Give up playing with your EU friends3) Buy a 2nd account for the other area4) Quit playing all together. Since GW2 was launched, NA and EU have been seperate.
I'm not sure one must log in to buy Guild Wars 2. I mean how does a new player purchase the game? Must new players create accounts before purchasing? That seems odd, but I don't really know how it works, as I'm not a new player. Edit: Well, I guess one must create an account to purchase the game. Seems a bit backward to me, but I'm sure

Honestly, whatever you find fun, you should use. Leveling, there is no real challenge. However, I think that an elementalist complements warrior well, as the warrior can take a bulk of the damage and deal some, while the ele deals loads of damage and supports the warrior with boons/healing.
This game has horizontal progression, you can get endgame gear just by doing fractals or crafting, which don't require expansions. Every expansion add drastically improved level design, continue the same arc and provide gear of the same stats you could find 10 years ago.
